Classical Piano Recordings
Before releasing his catalogue of original compositions, Justin James established himself as an elite level pianist, recording two professional albums of the classical piano repertoire at the Perth concert hall in 2007 and 2013.
Featuring works by Chopin, Liszt, Debussy, Scriabin, Rachmaninoff and other great composers, these recordings showcase the technical precision, musical sensitivity and interpretive depth that continue to influence Justin's work as both performer and composer.
Alongside these concert recordings, this collection also includes selected independent performances recorded in Justin's home studio. These ongoing projects offer listeners a more immediate glimpse into his current performance work, including Rachmaninoff Piano Sonata No. 1, which is currently available as a complimentary work-in-progress recording while the final version is being prepared.
