Get Along by Justin James is a reflective, message-driven song exploring harmony, connection and the idea of living together with greater understanding.
About this Song:
Get Along by Justin James is a thoughtful contemporary song exploring the idea of harmony, connection and collective responsibility.
Built around a reflective musical foundation, the song poses simple but important questions about human behaviour, conflict and coexistence. The music supports a message-driven narrative, allowing space for both contemplation and emotional engagement.
Blending contemporary songwriting with philosophical themes, Get Along invites listeners to consider what stands in the way of unity and whether simplicity, respect, and shared understanding might offer a way forward.
Get Along is ideal for listening, film, media and licensing contexts requiring thoughtful, message-based music.
A Note from Justin
I was sitting in the carpark, waiting. Then, as I was pulling out, the question came to me.
Harmony between people isn’t a complex idea, yet it’s often treated as though it is. We talk about world peace as if it’s abstract or unrealistic, but at its core, it’s quite simple.
Humans have a wide range between their best and worst. The question becomes — how much conflict do we want? How much is enough?
The idea that something should stand between harmony, inclusiveness and integration is difficult to understand. Getting along, community and a strong social contract should be a priority.
We’re only here for a short time. Some of that time is for learning. And what good is learning without cohesion?
There doesn’t need to be a reason to get along. Respect and good manners are free.
