I write music that oscillates between classical tradition and modernity. My work is shaped by curiosity, storytelling and a deep love of harmony and colour. Whether I’m composing original pieces or arranging music I admire, my aim is to create something expressive, honest and human.

My musical language has been shaped over many years of performing, teaching, composing and studying the traditions that define both Western art music and contemporary forms. I’ve been fortunate to learn from mentors such as Pauline Belviso and Richard Gill, and to work across classical performance, jazz, songwriting, radio production and multimedia. All of these experiences influence the way I think about sound, structure and expression.
Original Compositions
My original compositions include piano solos, works for cello and piano, ensemble pieces, variation sets, etudes, nocturnes and larger-scale forms. I’m always exploring how structure and freedom can work together - giving performers a clear musical narrative while leaving space for interpretation and personal expression.

The music ranges from meditative, lyrical writing to rhythmic and virtuosic pieces. Whatever the style, my aim is to write music that feels purposeful, enjoyable to play and honest in its emotional language.

Arrangements
My arrangements reflect both my formal classical training and my broad listening background. I draw from jazz, pop, rock, film music and the wider musical world, reshaping familiar material into something fresh, pianistic and engaging.
These pieces are never simple reductions. I aim to transform the music in a way that honours the original spirit while giving it new colour, energy and life on the instrument. I enjoy weaving unexpected harmonic colours, rhythmic ideas or voicings into the texture - sometimes virtuosic, sometimes lyrical, always intentional.

My goal is to create arrangements that feel satisfying under the hands and rewarding for performers at a range of levels.

I welcome commissions for original works across all styles, instruments and ability levels. Whether you’re a performer looking for something unique, a teacher wanting custom exercises for your students, a school planning an ensemble work or an event organiser needing something special, I enjoy creating music that is written specifically for the people who will play it.

All commissioned music is fully original - never AI-generated - written by a real musician for real musicians. I care about clarity, creativity and making sure each piece feels meaningful and enjoyable to perform.
