Original piano solo by Justin James
Level: Intermediate
About this Composition:
International Banking Derangement Syndrome, or as an acronym IBDS, doesn’t exist. But we could call it by many other names to pass the time. War would be one that comes to mind. But this is purely for building a piano technique savings account that will mature and pay dividends. Play this well and you have learnt to control the right-hand tremolo and contain it through secure pedal work. The left hand then plays melodies and has to return home from work at the bank, aka treble clef, to play deep bass notes with clarity. The melody then switches to the right hand and the left hand to tremolo, again requiring containment and clarity, without going troppo.
